VTuber Models
Shortly before making this Model, I decided to try out Clip Studio Paint, so this is also one of my first projects with the program. For this project, I chose to make Chihiro and Makoto into my second VTuber Model. This took me roughly 2 weeks as well, however, I decided to put more effort into this model, by cutting it into smaller pieces and adding more details compared to last time. It is most notable on the hair, eyes and mouth.
In addition, I also decided to add a toggle for the first time, to switch between Chihiro and Makoto. This toggle changes the eye color, as well as his overall expression. For the expression, I mostly changed up the smile and made it quite a bit wider to fit Makotos personality.
Compared to last time, I only rigged the upper body for the most part, since I mainly wanted to focus on that for now and didn't want to overwhelm myself. Since that's the case, the tail is stiff and doesn't move :') I might rig the rest in the future as well.
Note: The full Model image (First image, aka the original Illustration-File) looks slightly different, since I made small changes within Live2D itself.
This is my first VTuber Model I've ever made. The entire process took me roughly 2 weeks. I've kept the model simple to not overwhelm myself and thus, kept the cutting rather rough. It's able to make various expressions, however the mouth rigging isn't perfect. This Model is still very functional.
Low-Poly 3D Model
This is actually my second model I've made, however it's the first I've made entirely by myself.
(FYI: The first Model I've made was from a Series/Playlist on YouTube from a specific
YouTuber,
who made a full Low-Poly 3D Model guide. For my second model I've used the same turnaround as reference, just changed it up.)
This process took me roughly 2 weeks as well. The character displayed is my OC Yōko. I also tried to add some rigging to it to make various poses, however, unfortunately it was a little messy so I eventually gave up on that part.
"Rabbit And Steel" Skins
Note: This project was a commission!
I've been asked to make this skin of "Nekozuka Hibiki" (Blue Archive) for the game "Rabbit and Steel".
This mod replaces the 5th palette of the Grenadier/Gunner Rabbit.
The client requested to replace the original characters gun with a taser, as well as make an entirely new animation for the [Special] skill, featuring Hibiki's mortar! The reload animation has also been slightly altered to make her swap out the cartridge of the taser instead.
So it basically has custom animations and extra frames, since it uses the more complex Animation Sheet from the game.
They also gave me the permission to share it on my Steam workshop. (Pssst go check it out frfr-)
This is the first skin I've made for the game, a gift for my boyfriend. Since this was the first time doing this, I went for a Simple Animation Sheet, which simply replaces the existing frames without changes to the frame count, position, etc.
So unlike the "Hibiki" skin above, this one does NOT have extra frames. It simply replaces the model and adds a few things to some frames.
Here, I've mainly changed one of the animations to Kokoro using one of her signature weapons (naginata). In addition, I also slightly changed some other animations by adding Kokoro's Fans.
University Project - Game Design (Sep-Oct 2025 / Jan 2026)
Note: This project was part of a University group-assignment. Our assignment was about developing our own little game within 6 months. However, I dropped out of University after only 1 month and thus, everything here is unfinished. The group ended up using my character designs for their project after I left, but I have no idea what happened to it at this point.
Also this will be a huge yapfest + rant because I got really angry about this and it's my website so um yeah!! Ignore the text if u don't care <3
At the very beginning, we settled on the thought of making our main character a Witch. We didn't really talk about the Witchs personality / looks, aside from the fact that she was supposed to be nice. Since the group wasn't really that active, I went ahead and came up with the first design. Despite our initial thought of the main characters nice personality, I thought of the main character as a rather "cool Witch" with celestial powers, mainly to make her a little more special, instead of the regular "silly Witch brews potions and poisons/helps people!!". At this point, she's probably closer to a Magical Girl, than a Witch, but I thought the fancy Witch Hat and Broom made up for that.
Overall, she was mainly supposed to have dark colors and a general sharp design to have a little of a threatening aura to her. To respect my group members, I also added an asymmetrical-aspect to her design, to reflect the overall "asymmetry" between the threatening/cool Design and nice/caring Personality. She was basically supposed to LOOK threatening, but actually be a nice person.
Aside from that, I also added some star/moon elements, to show some of that celestial part of her.
This is the second concept I came up with for our protagonist. My group members prefered if the protagonist had an overall cute appearance as well, so I changed up the overall concept of her design. I replaced the stars/moons with gems, mainly because I think the celestial power stuff appears to be more "serious" and "powerful". In addition, I decided that the gems were supposed to be the source of her magical powers. In order to show a connection between the character itself and the gems, I planned on giving them the same color.
Her hair has also been shortened to make her face look a little more round, for that cute appearance. For that same reason, I also adjusted her outfit by adding a bunch of frillies and ribbons, as well as short fluffy-looking shoes. My group members also asked me to give her a long skirt.
Since I was convinced, that my group would like the design (since it basically entails everything they asked), I went ahead and already made some pixel-art for the game. At that point, I added the colors to the character. I still gave her the overall darker look, since, in my opinion, it's just a common thing about witches. However, to make her not too dark, I added some contrast to her design by adding some bright pink/white to it. I ended up giving her blonde hair, because I just thought it was very fitting. It adds the complementary contrast between the purple-ish color and yellow, as well as some harmony between yellow and green.
Eventually, we decided to give our protagonist a partner, to make our game stand out a little more compared to other projects that were shown. In that case, it ended up being a 2-Player Platformer Puzzle-Game.
Our first thoughts about this new plan was to add a Ghost, since we decided to make the overall theme of the game spooky/halloween related. However, I personally thought that wouldn't be too fitting, especially because Ghosts are known to be able to go through walls. I thought of it as rather game breaking and hard to work with, so I recommended something else, that being a cat.
In the end, we went along with the cat idea and decided to make her look similar to the Witch herself, to demonstrate connection between the two. To make the cat not just... a regular cat, we decided to give her "magical" whiskers, that aren't attached to her head, as well as two tails.
My thoughts on the cat idea were, that, thanks to her size, she was able to reach places the witch could not reach, such as hidden places behind small gaps in walls or something. For that reason, I decided to give the cat a lamp that she holds with one of her tails, to illuminate her surroundings. Aside from that, the cat was also supposed to assist the witch by being able to interact with objects and attacking alongside the witch, to not make her useless in battle.
Since my group didn't give me any proper feedback on the designs and only added their own to the list, I ended up making yet ANOTHER design. This was the final design I came up with, by combining all of our ideas we had about the main character. The hair has been changed again by adding two long ponytails that are tied up multiple times. I still kept the short bangs to make her face look round. Aside from that, there had been adjustments to the skirt, sleeves, hat and staff, as well as earrings that I've added. The cat remained the same.
This time however, I didn't put too many thoughts into it. I just added up the things that I think made all of our designs special and put them together. It was more of a desperate action in this case, since the group project was a rather miserable experience due to lack of feedback and communication.
As already mentioned, I have no idea what happened to the project at this point, since I left University shortly after making this final design. All I know, is that they decided to use my second design and slightly altered it. Whether the cat mechanics made it through or not is also unknown.
Around late January 2026, I received this image from the projects group-chat (I was still in it) and it made me FURIOUS. According to the other people in the group, the professors told them they can use AI to generate things for a poster-project they had. So, they ended up taking MY art and fed it to AI without even..asking. You can imagine how I felt about that in that moment.
I personally don't condone this behavior, but there's little I can do. I hate AI generated ""art"" as well as people stealing other people's art to AI-generate images.
In that case, I ended up redrawing that artwork out of anger (I obviously didn't send it to them), partially to show myself and others that human-made art just has a better feel to it. Even if it's not perfect, it has a thought and effort behind it. In addition, I also changed up the character a little bit again to fit my personal liking. However, since I had a lot of things to do, I unfortunately only kept it as a sketch as of now. Hopefully I'll end up finishing this eventually.
